Sara Wade began painting, drawing and "creating" from an early age, leading inevitably to graduation from Sydney College of the Arts in 1982, where she studied sculpture, sound, etching and community arts.

Her works explore contemporary interpretations of the NSW north coast landscape, and the figure within the landscape … focusing on the abstract, the emotive and the design elements.
