He is also an experienced
character actor, most recently entertaining audiences as one of the
original cast of "Under Mulga Wood" - an Australian
"Imitation" of Dylan Thomas's "Under Milk Wood", which
toured parts of NSW in early 2004.
Also in early 2004, Hugh worked with musician Peter Winkler and singer Jeannie
Lewis on a production of "The Cat who walked by Himself", an
adaptation of a Rudyard Kipling story. Hugh was responsible for
the narration and the voices of all the other characters, except the
Woman!
