Hugh Wade is a Welsh-born babyboomer who was blown off the  expected pathways by the irresistible explosions of the sixties.

Between twenty and thirty came marriage and fatherhood, divorce and travel, computing, acting, reading, study and poetry.

The 1980's were a time of introspection and cab-driving while exploring the shaky life of an actor - developing creative, management and production skills which have contributed to the fertile period of the nineties, and hopefully well into the 21st century!

Merelyn Wade             I'm a little teapot Remix

                                         Butterflies and Graveyards

Merelyn Wade, (Mel), is alive and well and a little  surprised to be here.
From the age of sixteen she lived in the adrenalin zone of the punk scene with her cats and posters and scarified reminders of youthful folly.

She is now safely settled in the countryside with her goat, her cats and her garden.

Her poetic output has been prolific, much of it scribbled in pubs and swept away in many a bleary dawn. She tells her stories with raw emotion.

Travelling to Egypt in 2006 has given her a new set of insights and experiences which are reflected in the poetry that she is currently making.
