My Inside Room

Such luxuries are beyond compare

As my silk dressing gown, bed, and teddy bear

Cat held close against my face

Escaping from the human race

A letter from someone close to heart

Given to me on last depart

Sweet wishes when the sun comes up

And then my dreams all turn to dust

I'm told I read between the lines

But they're etched deep in my soul

These lines, you say they don't exist

Well how come they take control

My body is numb with meditation

Hiding from the aggravation

In my room I can avoid suffocation

I wish I could share this situation.
