Untitled - IV

The dragon spread its wings

Soared over valleys wide

Searching out a cavern

Somewhere he could hide

His flames ignite countrysides

His shadow brought on fear

But to fly from the forlorn dragon

was a flight away from tears

An ocean whelmed before him

The waves crashed at his feet

The cave was under water

The entrance was too deep

The cliff too high before him

and with wings one cannot climb

This dragon he was lonely

This dragon he was mine
